Angel Olsen
Angel Olsen was born in St. Louis Missouri and currently lives as a singer and songwriter in the city of Asheville in North Carolina. Olsen has released six albums to date, including Burn Your fire, no witness My woman All mirrors Whole new mess, and Big Time. My mother is a woman with an extraordinary capacity for loving children. She was adopted by her parents at the age of 3 and took care of her from birth. I was interested more in the childhood of my parents because we're separated by so many years. My imagination was more concerned with growing up in the 30s or 50s rather than the other kids in my generation. The personal side of my life. Olsen made public her decision to come out as gay on April 16 2021. Olsen made public her 2022 breakup with Adele Thibodeaux and revealed she was in a relationship with a long-time singer as well as friend Meg Duffy since 2020. Olsen revealed on her social media accounts that she was queer at the start of 2021. Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Olsen began performing in the city's caf s in her teenage years, eventually expanding her repertoire and gaining access to a community of fellow artists. After 2006, she moved to Chicago and began working with singer-songwriter from California Emmett Kel to form the Cairo Gang. Her previous album All Mirrors from 2019 featured dark almost gothic synth-rock and the enthralling swaths of music that is orchestral. Big Time is the first time Olsen sings consciously about her queer desires. The album is her first foray into country and a more traditional-driven genre. This makes a lot of sense.
